This category is for films
of any genre, any niche, and any category. The film can be from any country, but foreign
language films must have subtitles (preferred) or dubbing. As long as the film is
under 10 minutes in length, we want to see it.

Each film selected for showing will
receive an Official Selection Laurel. Additional Laurels will be awarded to the film
judged by our panel to be the most outstanding in each category, with all films competing
for total prizes worth over $2,000.
The Victoria Independent Film Festival is
an annual event and will be held from November 13th to 20th in 2008.
